PayByphone Parking Available in Fort Lauderdale
Residents and guests of Fort Lauderdale no longer need cash for their daily parking. PayByPhone parking is now offered at the 1,500 parking spaces operated by the City.
“The new PayByPhone parking option is convenient, easy and safe," said Diana Alarcon, Director of the City of Fort Lauderdale's Parking and Fleet Services Department. "We continue to embrace new ideas and new technologies as we endeavor to provide excellent customer service."
To use the service, motorists must first register their cell phone number, license plate number and credit card number by visiting www.paybyphone.com or by calling 1-888-680-PARK (7275) from the parking meter. Once signed up with a free PayByPhone account, users simply call 1-888-680-PARK (7275) from their cell phone and key in the location number (posted on the meter) and the amount of parking time desired. A history of transactions is then viewable any time the user logs into their account at www.paybyphone.com.
