PayByPhone Parking Now Available in Carolina Beach
Carolina Beach residents and visitors now have a convenient new payment option when parking. Effective immediately, the Verrus Pay by Phone Service will be offered at the 700 parking spaces operated by the city and Lanier Parking. Carolina Beach joins nearby Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington as cities that offer Pay by Phone parking in North Carolina.
To use the service, motorists must first register their cell phone number, license plate number and Visa/MasterCard/American Express number by visiting www.paybyphone.com or by calling 1-888-380-PARK (7275) from their parking spot. These details are encrypted and the account is protected by a PIN of their choice. Once signed up with a free account, users simply call 1-888-380-PARK (7275) from their cell phone and key in the location number (posted on the meter) and the amount of parking time desired. A history of transactions is then viewable any time the user logs into their account at www.paybyphone.com.
